A Note to Self
Dear Raihan,
Here are some reminders that you have to bear in mind for the time being:
1. Please, please and please do not ever feel tired or lazy to study. You only got one chance to live in this world. So, please utilize your time accordingly and properly.
Tidakkah kamu mengerti?”
(6: 32)
2. Please do not ever feel frustrated, regret or sad if anything you wish doesn’t come true. It is Allah’s will. He always knows best for whatever the best for you.
(2: 216)
3. Please do not give up for any difficulties and challenges that you encountered. Allah tests you only for the thing that suits you. You get it because you deserved it. He will never give you anything exceeds your ability.
(2: 286)
4. Please do not think negative for any trials or difficulties that you faced. It is a platform for you to be a better person in future.
“If Allah wants to do good to somebody, He afflicts him with trials.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
5. Every cloud has a silver lining. Remember that there is always a good side behind a bad side.
“No fatigue, no disease, no sorrow, no sadness, no hurt, no distress befalls a Muslim, even if it were the prick he receives from a thorn, but Allah expiates some of his sins for that.”
(Sahih al-Bukhari)
