Statement of the Problem

Assalamualaikum. Hi there!

Ehem....This is my statement of the problem: "Creating the problem statement is the latest problem that I have for all this while." :p


According to Simon, the heart of a doctoral dissertation is the problem statement. Problem statement is the place where most committee members go first to understand and assess the merits of a proposal or a dissertation. The problem statement will tell the reader why we're doing the study and be convinced of its importance... so that the reader will not be left with an unanswered "so what?" question at the conclusion of the study.

What is the overriding problem?

Where is the problem found?

What needs to be done to solve the problem?


We need to convince the reader that this study must be done in 200 words or less (about 1-2 paragraphs)..

We have to provide evidence that this problem is serious and in need for further investigation..

We have to convince the reader that the problem can be solved with the methodology selected..

Okay, got it?

So, please help me to create my own problem statement! :p


P/s: The problem is to find a problem, to realize that it is a problem and to create the statement of the problem. That makes me gain more problems. :p

Mukmin Kuat & Mukmin Lemah

Daripada Abu Hurairah r.a., beliau berkata bahawa Rasulullah SAW bersabda:

"Seorang Mukmin yang kuat lebih baik dan lebih dicintai oleh Allah daripada seorang Mukmin yang lemah, meskipun setiap daripada mereka mempunyai nilai baik. Lakukanlah sesuatu yang bermanfaat bagimu; mohonlah pertolongan kepada Allah (dalam berbuat ketaatan); dan janganlah bersikap lemah. Jika tertimpa suatu musibah, janganlah engkau mengatakan: 'Seandainya aku berbuat begini dan begini, pasti akan begini dan begini', akan tetapi katakanlah: 'Apa yang telah Allah tetapkan dan kehendaki pasti terjadi.' Sesungguhnya perkataan: 'Seandainya' itu akan membuka ruang bagi syaitan untuk ambil peranan."

P/s: Semester akhir, insya Allah. Berdebar meniti hari-hari seterusnya... Apakah hati ini masih teguh dan kuat? Hanya pada-Nya aku berharap...... Ya Allah, Kau permudahkanlah! Ameen...
